Pros

Nice employees that are taken advantage of by the corporate system. Since Renown Health is the biggest employer in Reno, they can get away with poor policies and subpar pay.

Cons

Over-worked. Renown Health faced a class action lawsuit over unpaid breaks and off-the-clock work. The lawsuit was settled out of court in early 2025, however, the unpaid work continues with interrupted time off. No paid holidays. If an employee is forced off on a holiday, the employee’s vacation hours are used for that day. When employees resign, earned vacation time is not paid out. Former employees have lost thousands of dollars in vacation time that they couldn’t take before resigning.

Pros

Daily communication with my team. My team has been friendly since I started. I really enjoy the remote/hybrid environment they have set up for the accounting department and it made juggling my school schedule easier!
