Pros

The money! Guaranteed overtime and yearly raises! Get paid weekly. Low supervision. Full hour lunch breaks. You can buy Rent-A-Center's repossessed products at an extremely low price. You may be promoted to a manager position in less than a year. Able to sit down and work inside at certain times everyday. As long as they see you trying, they wont fire you.

Cons

If you don't have co workers that actually wanna work, it will be challenging. U have to be able to lift furniture and get them into customers' houses without tearing up the furniture or their home. Sometimes customer's houses are really small so you literally have to squeeze huge sofa sets through their tiny doorways and hallways in a timely manner. Its a hassle trying to get these customers to pay their rent on time for these products. You have to call them twice everyday or until they answer the phone and give you a verbal commitment to come in and pay. Many times the customers lie and do literally anything not to pay. What happens if they don't pay? Well lucky for you, it doesn't affect your pay. However, it does make your store look bad and the district manager will be popping up since your store's numbers have caught his/her attention. Doesn't seem too bad, does it? Don't judge so fast! You and your co worker will have your own individual routes. A route is an assigned list of customers that are renting merchandise from the company. If you can't get the people on your route to pay, your route looks bad, and causes your store's numbers to look bad, which causes your district's ratings to go down. So when you all have your weekly store meetings, you will definitely be exposed. They will constantly be on you to get them to pay. But once you are past your 90 day period they most probably won't fire you for that. You just have to learn how to deal with criticism and being cursed out by customers and threatened.
