Pros
The products are good and attractive. Most of the rental car companies will buy telemetry software in the next few years so there is a growing market and good prospects of business. A software engineer in Rentalmatics will find a modern tech stack with trendy languages and challenges (BigData, AI...). There is not a lot of old code to maintain as you can find in older software companies, and the company is agile with processes light enough and not too much management to be productive. Good work/life balance: it is not the kind of startup that asks you to work more than your contract.
Cons
Usual cons of a startup: you have to be flexible and accept that the company does not have all the expensive tools and software. Compensation might be on the low side compared to the big software companies that are in Dublin, but the benefits are improving (Healthcare, pension, performance bonus...)
