The management and supervisory teams are great people: really funny, understanding, and supportive. Everyone is approachable and there is an open-door policy. They are willing to go to bat for you and make you feel supported. Lots of agency potlucks. Everyone is a great cook there. The benefits are really good and the hours are flexible. Team members and coworkers are great. Everyone understands and helps each other.

The paperwork and interfacing with the state are the hardest parts - but you have the support of RCI leadership and your coworkers. The pay is low in general but it's also what you'd expect working for a social services non-profit.
