Pros

Very friendly place to work, management is caring, god growth opportunities, flexible with work/life balance. I have been with Reval for a few years and cannot consider moving elsewhere, I love my department and my management team. There is tons of knowledge to gain and resources are very knowledgeable and informative. The CEO and executive team are super friendly and very easy to approach. The company is constantly doing great things with improving itself to showcase as an industry leader. The client base continues to grow and all signs lead to fast growth and strong foundation.

Cons

401 benefits are not as appealing as your large companies (but the company has a great compensation plan to make up for it). Health benefits are a little expensive but that is not really the company doing, its more industry hikes.

Pros

To be fair, they have a decent looking office on fifth avenue in New York. HR staff are generally nice and helpful. Some colleagues are hard working and decent people. The company holds some nice parties.

Cons

The company has very low budget and very tight timelines of delivering product. It put emphasis on product delivery rather than product quality. The company do not have resources and man power to document their products so you are walking in a maze if you work there. Some of the employees spend their days spying on others and tattle tale rather than being cooperative and focus on their work. The management is arrogant and condones such unproductive behavior. They treat very capable employees like garbage and let them go in an annual ritual. The company pays symbolic bonus and boosts morale by handing out "awards" which mount to nothing in reality. The stock option package is so small that a 9 year old can figure out that it is not worth much EVEN IF the company does have a great IPO.
