Pros

Company provided vehicle 4 months Pat/Mat leave 401k match with a 3% kicker 3 weeks PTO in first year

Cons

Culture - the company culture is toxic. Core Values that once meant something is now being thrown around very loosely. Forcing products down the pipeline for the numbers and for show without any regard for the inventory issues, ruined credibility, and hatred developed at retail. It would be no surprise if customers gave Reynolds the boot if they haven’t already. Career progression – Don’t believe the hype because it’s not for everyone and not based on merit, performance, or achievement. Unless you are part of the intern program, global graduate, or a targeted outside hire, your chances are non-existent. If you are a bootlicker however, your chances go up exponentially. Management – These folks were once described as “unsung heroes” for their tireless and thankless dedication to their people. Nowadays, they do one thing well and that’s CYA. They have sold their souls to the company store (BAT) and have added “bootlicking skills” to their transformation. Managers that can no longer look at themselves in the mirror anymore and have some talent, end up leaving. The ones with little talent stay and go into survival mode and practice saying, “yes sir, may I please have some more,” in the mirror. These folks can be referred to as a BAT Puppet or simply as an Atom Fort. Job stability does not exist for anyone in the organization. Propel 3.0 is right around the corner to achieve and complete Race to the Bottom.

Pros

Company car and free gas

Cons

1. The managerial style of the district manager in Seattle is extremely petty, his reviews make no sense whatsoever, and there is a rampant culture of favoritism going on in his district. 2. The insistence on doing “work withs” for a person with high functioning Autism was absolute torture. Even though reasonable accommodations were requested by me, none were given. 3. The district manager also referred to me as in proper nouns that were derogatory and EXTREMELY offensive to someone with Autism numerous times. 4. The payout of bonuses were also extremely infrequent, even though I qualified for them. 5. Finally during the interview process, one of the biggest selling points that was made to me was a promise of a work life balance with “exemplary pay.” Neither of which came to fruition.
