Pros

As a former student and then flight instructor I have a respect for Richmor Flight School -- specifically that it continues to turn out good pilots despite the management. The Chief Instructor is focused, motivated and equanimous. He organized the school to acquire a new Redbird FMX with CE-172R and BE-58 (Baron) panels. He keeps instructors at the one good training base (SCH) sharp. The aircraft are well-maintained.

Cons

Pay is a joke -- a second job is a must. Raises must be argued for. Only one of the training bases (SCH) has regular business; the others are dependent on the school year for their students and there are long periods where there is no flying. Flight school director is narcissistic and capricious, playing at favorites and not supportive at all of staff. Director is not a pilot. Redbird FMX only available if you're based at SCH. No procedures and only some policy is written down. The most modern equipment in the aircraft is a Garmin 430W and only two or three of the 172s have those. No fuel-injected aircraft.
