• Long-term stability — Ridgewood has consistently provided a secure, supportive environment throughout my entire career. • Real advancement opportunities — I started as a Teller in college and was promoted within months, then into management within a few years. • Investment in employees — The bank supported my undergraduate degree and offered numerous enrichment and development programs. • Strong culture of trust — I’ve always felt the company genuinely looks out for me, which has kept me here even when higher-paying offers came along. • Community-focused mission — Ridgewood encourages meaningful community service and gives employees opportunities to make a real impact. • Supportive leadership — When I reached a ceiling in Retail Banking, leadership listened and created a path for me to grow in Operations.

Cons

• Limited upper‑management roles — In Retail Banking, advancement beyond Branch Manager can be challenging when Regional roles aren’t available. • Pace of structural change — As with any established institution, organizational shifts can take time. • Compensation competitiveness — While the stability is exceptional, compensation may not always match some higher-paying opportunities in the industry.
