Pros

The pay is great when the scheduler decides to like you.

Cons

The scheduler gives the best paying jobs to the biggest brown nose. So, if you haven’t kissed her butt, you get the small jobs. The owner doesn’t want to be involved in any of the functionality of the company so don’t bother taking these concerns to him. He doesn’t care.

Work in the field is physical and some work is outdoors and is challenging when dealing with weather.

Pros

This is a fully remote position. Can be a foothold to build experience in the trades. Wages are okay.

Cons

Clearly an MBA has never touched this business. Very blue collar and unprofessional. Rigdon Inc. does not hold team meetings or one-on-ones. Supervisor feedback is absent. Communication is often short, vague, and unfriendly. No feedback on KPIs/metrics. I do not feel empowered to ask questions. Questions are met with slow responses and contradictory answers from dispatchers and management. Sometimes questions go unanswered without follow-up. The company's CRM is buggy and unreasonably difficult to navigate. Outages to the CRM and phone system are frequent, sometimes lasting over an hour.
