Pros

1. Part of a big org set up so you get timely pay and detailed HR policies. 2. Helpful team mates 3. Hard work is appreciated

Cons

It is tough to create an exhaustive list but i will try. In terms of work, there is an infinite amount of redundant tasks and very few interesting opportunities. The quality of work expected is like Schrodinger's cat, present and absent at the same time. Deadlines are mostly improbable and mistakes lead to embarrassment and shame. Micro management is the norm here. In terms of culture, the teammates are supportive and helpful. Managers and other seniors are superficial. There are constant reprimands by seniors on silly things leading to floor wide tear feast. Be ready for it, happens at least once a week. You will be expected to work 24*7 and they will make sure that you do. Leaving on time from the office is considered a crime and asking for leaves feels like asking for parole. Honesty, empathy and ethics do not matter as long as your manager is happy with you. To survive you have to be thick skinned and experienced in corporate politics. And to grow you have to be mule.
