Pros

Flexible Work Hours Get to do many different things - not just "cashier" or "stock" but a variety Get to know the "regulars" and they get to know you Good management (for the most part) The store managers really know what they are talking about Get to know your co-workers well

Cons

There is never enough people working. Most nights there is just a cashier and a manager Hours will get cut drastically seasonally It is all about the customer. 100% about customer, 0% about employee. It doesn't matter if you get a complaint what it was about, the customer is always right. I do not feel as a company that they value their employees enough. Also, customers can earn the employee discount by earning 1,000 points on their wellness card. If they are able to earn the employee discount, then they should raise the discount for the employees. Hard to advance. Basically you are an associate, shift supervisor, or manager. (This is not including the pharmacy, just the front end). And they like to hire people outside of the company for the higher positions rather than promote within. The pay is minimum wage. You do get raises but they are only once a year. For everything they make their employees do I feel we deserve a higher pay rate than that.
