Pros
I believe in the Mission. There are some really great people here.
Cons
I guess the veil has been lifted. The things that i was promised to leave my previous employer were not true. I was told advancement and development was something that they were proactive about, but the policies they have in place determine that to be a lie. Maybe if you are already mid-upper management as they seem to get new job titles each quarter, but I am not even able to become a higher level at my own position (they call it riv level). For over a year I was told there was not a solid process in place, to do so but then i noticed other peers with my title getting Riv'd up. I asked for guidance on how to do and was given none. Last cycle I was told that they are only allowed to do a very limited number of people per promotion cycle so i was not nominated. This is all fine and dandy except in my position there is no where to go with my level. I dont care that there is money associated with the leveling up as much as I do the title itself. I can not even interview for a job if it skips a level and I can only level up 2 x a year IF I am nominated. This process is broken. I was told I would be better off quitting and reapplying for the job I really want if skipping levels was a thing. How does that make sense? All the money that was put in recruiting, interviewing and vetting employees to have to do it again because they left to get a job in the same company? Does RJ know any of this? I feel like he can't possibly know how his lower level employees feel- We are frustrated and burn out and feel like we are not important.
