We do want to address the tip pool concern directly, as we understand it's an important topic. RDG's tip structures are carefully designed to be compliant, transparent, and equitable. It's worth clarifying that traditional managers do not participate in the tip pool. However, certain guest-facing roles — who are actively and directly involved in the guest experience — do participate, as is both legal and common practice in high-end hospitality operations.
We believe our team deserves clarity on how these structures work, and if that wasn't communicated as well as it should have been, that's something we take seriously and will continue to improve.
