Pros

Most of the contact centre agents were lovely. Really easy to get on with and all help and look out for eachother. Christmas parties were good.

Cons

Management do not look out for your wellbeing at all! They upsell the commission by promoting one guys earnings (which he unfairly gains) Targets are near enough impossible to get - managers tell you, you’re failing without actually helping you find ways to be better. There could be a war happening and they would still question why you haven’t sold that destination. The pay is minimum. If you work remotely, you will be treated differently and unfairly. Hybrid workers or people in a ‘particular two managers circle’ will thrive and have unfair advantages. Lots of favouritism, lots of bullying by two managers. Educationals are given to the clear favourites and the left over trips, to the people that actually need them (if they’re lucky) Contact centre agents do not receive a bonus like the rest of the company. Yet, will work a lot more hours, on a lot less money and are the main reason the company give a bonus.

Pros

I absolutely love working at Riviera Travel and feel genuinely proud to be part of the company. It is a fast moving, growing organisation with a clear vision and strong values, and there is a real sense of passion for what we do and for the guests who travel with us. That shared sense of purpose makes the work rewarding and meaningful every day. Riviera is also a fun and welcoming place to work. The people are warm, friendly, and supportive, and I feel truly valued for the contribution I make. The entertainment committee does a fantastic job of organising activities and events, creating a positive culture where people feel connected and engaged. There is a strong focus on internal movement and development, with genuine opportunities to grow, progress and build a long-term career. I particularly enjoy being part of a business that is evolving and looking to the future. Finding and attracting talent to support that growth is something I find incredibly fulfilling, and it is exciting to work in an environment that embraces change, ambition, and continuous improvement. Riviera Travel is a fabulous place to work, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive, people focused and future driven company.

Cons

Not a con but this is a fast moving company, things can change at a moments notice, you need to be able to adjust and adapt with ease. This working style may not be for everyone.
