Pros

Dress code is relaxed. Ton of good people at this company. Coworkers make the day fun and exciting. Lunch spots and beautiful downtown location. Minimal micro managing.

Cons

This is telemarketing/appointment booking. Expect to make 70+ meaningful dials a day off of your own generated leads. Serious data entry can take out of your calls which leads to messages from management. Managers and directors walk around critiquing performance while they play with board games/puzzles. Turnover rate is terrible because the job description is not completely honest. They will offer sign on bonuses and refer all bonuses to get you in the door. Business Development Reps are expendable at any point in time but they never look at the “coaches” as a reason for why the sale reps numbers are low. Sales coaches have minimal to no actual management experience. They just happened to be in this position at the right time which produced good numbers for them, was easy for them to be promoted because the number of reps at the time was extremely low. No sick days. All time off is paid time off and if you go over a certain amount of days you get canned. Expect to make up for the day you took off. Not sure why it’s called time off if we are expected to reach the daily number even when we are off.

Pros

Most money I've ever made in this type of role. Manageable workload for the most part, unless you grab too many complex tickets or have things start to go sideways. Great benefits. Fun team atmosphere and culture. Have seen many people on my team get promoted into higher roles so far, so I feel like I can take my path in my own hands and push it as far as I want.

Cons

Disorganized and constantly evolving processes that live and die by "FYI's", many that you only suss out when you come across a new situation. They've tried to codify a lot of processes and have done a good job, but many are still "you need to find out in order to know". No robust task system that is oriented by roles and expectations/capabilities rather than individual's names, which is... ponderous. Need a role to do something? Go look in a directory for the person doing that at the moment (subject to change, may not be updated/old info, person could be on vacation, etc) then send it to them, rather than dropping a task in a bucket that someone assigned to that role sees. The difference sounds small but it's immense in practice. Some of the fees and charges a customer can accrue are difficult to explain because they're nakedly bill stuffing.
