Pros

Great coworkers Cool new office(s) Snacks Flexible WFH (pre-covid) Interesting challenges Conceptually cool products

Cons

Roadmunk has had a disastrous 2020, they are rapidly losing market and mindshare. The environment created by upper management is pure toxicity. Despite being a company of only about 100 (peak) there have been around 60 layoffs/resignations since spring 2020. To say that Roadmunk has not made a correct tactical or strategic decision in the last 12 months would be an understatement. They have burned the first mover's advantage they enjoyed for the first few years of their existence and are now left with a core product that is rotten to the core, has bugs and performance issues, and now is less featureful and more expensive than the competition. The company seems to think that mass lay-offs is a reasonable way to run a company, then scapegoating those that left for the underlying issues the company has. Protip : if you keep having to layoff people in mass, it's the way the company is run that's the problem, not the people who were fired/resigned. The company is currently burning cash like crazy. At this point they're either getting bought for pennies or closing shop in the not too distant future. Maybe the 20 odd people they laid off recently will help that burn. This time last year I would have given 4 or 5 stars, which is the only reason this isn't a 1 star review. The current state of Roadmunk is like watching the terrible last season of an otherwise great tv show.

Pros

Fantastic people to work with, some great tech in places, lots to learn

Cons

As I was only present as a coop, I did not get to fully experience everything at Roadmunk. The decision making and long term career options seemed a bit lacking at the time, this may have improved since though.
