      Lots of smart people, great vision, big market - Senior Software Engineer Roblox Employee Review

      Pros

      -Lots of room for new ideas. The tech is fairly new and broad, and there is minimal bureaucracy and approval "processes". -Talent is rewarded. -Smart coworkers -Transparency about company strategies all the way from exec level. Company meetings every week where all details of the business and financials are discussed.

      Cons

      -This company isn't great for people who are just out of school. The expectation is that you take educating and training yourself into your own hands, which could be a bit of a challenge to some. If you do not possess the knowledge and the talent to be a good problem solver, don't expect management to train you on solving things.

      Wonderful people, free & tasty breakfast and lunch with a lot of options, not too much pressure

      Lots of responsibility, lower RO rate (for interns)

      Pros

      Total compensation is top of the market. Good benefits, matching 401k, free DEXA scans, nice HQ.

      Cons

      Chaotic management. Violatile stock price, one year you can make a lot of money with your RSUs, the next year its all worthless. Progression is hard, on paper they have a standardized rubric for leveling engineers but when it comes to calibration that's when the gaslighting and the caveat starts.
