      Pros

      Smart people, hard challenges, huge scope and lots of MAUs to try out the things you release. Really rewards taking initiative. Few click-punchers.

      Cons

      Scope of what we're trying to solve is huge, and it can be hard to keep your eyes on the vision. You have to take initiative to get things done.

      Wonderful people, free & tasty breakfast and lunch with a lot of options, not too much pressure

      Pros

      Total compensation is top of the market. Good benefits, matching 401k, free DEXA scans, nice HQ.

      Cons

      Chaotic management. Violatile stock price, one year you can make a lot of money with your RSUs, the next year its all worthless. Progression is hard, on paper they have a standardized rubric for leveling engineers but when it comes to calibration that's when the gaslighting and the caveat starts.
