Pros
Roblox offers competitive pay and benefits. There's a lot of room for product improvements which leaves room for fun and impactful challenges if you get the chance to ever work on them. I think the HR/People team really care about employees and a good work culture, but it doesn't work.
Cons
Those fun and impactful projects that we all want to work on to move the company forward are like a door at the end of an ever growing hallway. You are strung along. They will never happen. The environment is very toxic with excessively anxious managers who project their anxiety to their reports and colleagues. If you're lucky you get a manager who learned to manage healthily from another company, but most of us get managers who will gaslight you, create a blame culture and talk to you very unprofessionally. They don't respect boundaries and they will expect perfection from you. Anything you do that is not perfect can be turned against you. Additionally, it takes forever to get anything done. There is almost no supporting infrastructure to help make people more productive. It's also a work environment that values constant context switching and distractions. The upside is that they made reorganizations to start putting more competent people in higher management positions. The downside is that it's very, very slow...
