Pros
I'll be honest - I'm giving 3 stars because 5 stars is a rookie mistake. My experience here was good, management was OK with me being flexible as far as WFH time so that i could help care for my children. The work was difficult, but the support was always there to help along the way. Once you got moving however, you needed to be on your game.
Cons
I can't complain all too much. My manager was a good manager, and a good person. My only gripe towards the end of my tenure was the intensity of overnight support. There were many, many, occasions where I would work 9-5, come home, then be on call from 7-6 am. Then go back to work.... those weeks where i provided on call support, i may as well have been just working a second job as i did put in 100 hour weeks repeatedly, if not, 60-75 hours.
i liked the work and the people, but at a certain point, i needed to break away as it was just not for me anymore.
