Pros
-Hybrid work environment with 3 days in office and 2 days home. Flexible schedules in the day-to-day. -Every single person here is wicked smart, great at what they do, and the vast majority are really passionate about their work and what we can accomplish. Such a motivating environment when all your team members are excited about the work. (and great, interesting people too). Also, Rokt has offices around the world, so you get to meet, befriend, and work with people from all over. -Compensation is really transparent. They pay everyone super well in every market and the career ladder is shared with the entire company. -Everyone has the opportunity to make a big impact. We're relatively new/small, but growing so quickly that everyone has the chance to build big, lasting pieces of the business. At least from what I've seen, everyone has a say. Great place to learn and grow. -Amazing perks like a yearly company trip (this year Hawaii), monthly wellness allowance, phone allowance, great lunches in office 3x a week, dog friendly office, celebrating our wins/challenges every Friday, end of quarter celebrations, gifts mailed to your home for special occasions, the list goes on. -They're doing really, really well. This means growing fast (which comes with challenges), which is amazing to see! Feels like you're a part of something big. Huge potential.
Cons
-Because we're growing so fast, we need to hire a lot more people, which means there's a lot of work to do and can be hard. They're working on this though, and is improving. -The standards are quite high (rightfully, which I count as a Pro, but can make things hard). Most of the time this is very motivating, and makes everyone proud of their work, but not everybody would enjoy this. -Time zones between offices around the world can be challenging. This, combined with the above points, mean that if you wanted to stay on your computer working super hard all day and night, you could. And some people do, and they burn out. Happens to a lot of people. But the reason this is a 5 star review is because they're so flexible, they allow you to take care of yourself and walk away from the computer whenever you need to, start later if you know you have a meeting with Australia at night, etc. It can be easy to get swept up in the work and the fact that there's always someone online, but if you take care of yourself and put your work-life balance first, you'll be just fine.
