Pros
The low level management and care team are amazing. They care about the residents and try to do the right thing, despite all the problems.
Cons
The corporate management likes to micromanage every aspect of life and work here. The corporate “president” is a control freak who openly degrades employees such as cleaning staff and care specialists in front of family members, usually after that employee’s supervisor suggests a raise. She tries to control everyone with fear, often threatening to ruin someone’s reputation if they don’t get their way. She makes unreasonable demands with no regard for the safety of those involved. She claims to be an RN, but she has little understanding of anatomy and physiology, and her RN status expired in 2014. She regularly has temper tantrums like a child in meetings. She is supposed to be the “President” of her company, but she throws the owner of another company’s name around to exert her authority. She is associated with a larger company from North Carolina that split from another company after the original was found guilty of Medicare fraud, and has been accused of attempting to do the same thing in Florida.
