Pros
The company has successfully handled double-digit growth for the last 5-10 years, and is not afraid to invest in its future (equipment, people, structure). Management continues to build on its employee-focused approach to developing satisfied associates, and also to identify and train tomorrow's shop floor and middle management leaders. Company decisions are well balanced between business needs and operators' family needs.
Cons
There have been some growing pains as the family-owned business continues to rapidly become one of North America's largest custom hydraulic cylinder manufacturing company. However, they've also demonstrated a desire to consistently address those "pains" and continue improving the business and the working conditions of all their employees. I feel confident that when future issues arise (and they will), management will address them with the same level of fairness and sensitivity I've seen during my tenure at Rosenboom.
