Pros

1.) the people they have hired are great-generally hard working and team oriented. 2.) stable business in a rocky retail environment

Cons

1.) inflexible and archaic-Ross has decided that we learned nothing through the pandemic. Apparently you are not working hard unless you are sitting at your desk in the office. They want everyone punching a clock 4 days a week in the office and you can be remote only on Fridays. 2.) zero work life balance anymore. Everyone needs your schedule. If you have a doctors appt or your kiddo has a school concert you need approval from everyone to work from home. 3.) Rolling back benefits-first no bonuses paid for 2022, then they have scaled back days off we had last year and now the roll back of a hybrid working schedule. 4.) Micromanaging from senior management. Apparently we cannot do anything independently anymore and we need to add meetings to our calendars and have more oversight over all decisions.

Pros

All of my coworkers were wonderful. No high school drama. Boss was flexible and understanding, although he always liked it if you said you could work more hours. The employee discount is pretty awesome. The work wasn't bad and rude customers were rare.

Cons

There was pressure to come in even when you were sick. Pay wasn't the greatest; it usually stayed ahead of minimum wage, but by no means kept up with inflation. Visits from corporate often meant a new change in procedures that had been working and demands that were somewhat unreasonable given the constraints of the layout or number of employees available.
