Pros

The people, the reasonable workload, the super interesting challenges, the thrill I feel being part of something growing and improving at such speed (even though it's in the top of its field already).. even one of these things would be enough for me to stay here. And they got all.

Cons

First week was a bit overwhelming but nothing unbearable.

We are aware that the few first weeks can be a bit overwhelming- that's why the onboarding team is constantly thinking of improvements. It's great to see that you are enjoying the variety of technical challenges you face each day. This is just the beginning!

Pros

Awesome team and culture, great management.

Cons

The cons that come with a startup. Lots of figuring it out yourself. This is a pro for me though.

Thank you for sharing your feelings with us. We loved how you converted your "con" into a "pro". Working in a startup requires a lot of independence and self-confidence. However, we are always exploring ways to improve how the company is structured and the way in which information flows. This is so you can have the best possible experience.

Pros

They throw pretty good salary, cant lie. The product is solid, but not well-differentiated from all the competing vendors offering the same thing for less. Document automation has become saturated and so most deals are highly competitive.

Cons

Disclaimer that I got laid off with zero notice whatsoever, while having produced more than other team members who still work there to this day, which drives me to spend almost 7 full minutes doing a glassdoor review. Rossum is a highly toxic work culture for sure. Expect sporadic phone calls before the business day begins, and after the business day ends, on a consistent basis. Every rep in the US complained about pipeline insufficiency, as well as poor working relationships with the Pre-Sales Engineering team. Reps are forced to do their own prospecting in order to make up for insufficient pipeline. It is a highly critical culture where nothing is ever enough. Our best rep in the US left because it got to be over the top with toxicity. You have emotionally volatile Sales management, creating an environment where you don't know what kind of mood your bosses will be in at any given hour. Sales leadership would show up to forecast calls with the entire team and typically start the call; by sharing their mood/emotional state for the day (TMI)
