Pros
It's a small company, so you learn a lot, fast. And you have multiple responsibilities even early in your career there. The employer cares a lot about the wellbeing of his employees. You are likely to be head-hunted by larger organizations like the Ontario Ministry of the Environment once you have a few years of experience under your belt.
Cons
It's a company made up of primarily old men, and sexist jokes are not uncommon. If you don't like talking about hunting or how people experiencing homelessness are awful, then it might be difficult to connect with your team. The company is dying. The owner is very intelligent, but will likely retire within ten years and bring most of the knowledge needed to run the business with him. Worse, the only person who understands the IT infrastructure of the company is ~80 years old, and there is nobody ready to replace him. When he leaves, it's hard to imagine a scenario where the company survives.
