At Roth, employees are expected to memorize the company's Mission, Vision, and Values, with the potential of being quizzed on them at any time. However, my personal experience contradicts one of these values, specifically "respecting the dignity and worth of every individual and acting accordingly." In certain branches, some managers seem to operate with impunity, bending or breaking rules and extending their authority beyond their designated territory without facing consequences. This creates a sense of unfairness as other employees are held to strict adherence to company policies.
Despite being touted as a "Best Place to Work" recipient, the company's practices don't always align with these accolades. As a parent, I found myself lacking support or accommodations when needing to adjust my schedule to fulfill parental responsibilities. Instead, I was instructed to adhere strictly to office hours without any flexibility, leaving me to navigate these challenges on my own.
And finally, when I approched my boss (after a couple of stellar performance years) to discuss my future, i was told that I would be in my role for many years because he was not going anywhere.
And finally, I NEVER saw my regional VP. who was supposed to be in our branch at least once a quarter.
