Pros
I've been fortunate to be a part of the RouteSmart organization for 15 years. I came to the team from a business which sold a similar route optimizationn technology, so I came into this with a good foundation and understanding of our solutions. What impressed me the most was the access and collaboration I enjoyed with our technical experts who develop, design and improve our solutions. They provided whatever help I needed in developing a deeper understanding of our solutions so I could articulate their value to the market segment for which I was responsible. The other trademark of my experience is the collegial atmosphere among co-workers that starts at the top with our management team and filters down throughout all levels of the organization. I think the keystone of our organic growth over the years has been the entrepreneurial spirit that we've all embraced. The company has welcomed input from all levels of the organization. They are always willing to listen to employee ideas, and ultimately created an environment where all employees feel part of the team demonstrably through action vs. empty corporate slogans and lip service.
Cons
The nature of the RouteSmart work environment is very collaborative. This demands that employees be self starters, do not require a great deal of hand holding, while all the help you would need to be successful, is available. RouteSmart employees need to be able to work closely with their coworkers and get along on a professional work basis and lone wolf personalities may struggle to fit in at RouteSmart.
