Pros

You get 20% off cruises

Cons

Working at Royal Caribbean Group leaves no room for any flexibility on working hours. At the last all hands meeting, it was noted that on the staff survey people were asking for flexible work hours. They said that they heard us but they will not be adjusting the work hours. After that they reminded us that I. The past they had us stay until 6 instead of 5 like they do now and that it could always be worse. I thought this was very rude and short sighted. Currently I am a salary employee working form 0700 until 1700 since meetings are scheduled all day between these times. They installed cameras to monitor the work area and removed cubical during the pandemic. Now we just have a bunch of desks on the floor and no privacy at all.

Pros

The people - hardworking, honest and like family. The vision of the company - groundbreaking and innovative The benefits - cruise benefits for employees & friends and family Work from home Fridays Week off in December for the holidays Little Cruisers onsite daycare

Cons

Little to no flexibility in work hours. They preach a work life balance but then send out weekly "clock in/clock out" reports to supervisors, making a big deal if you are not logging your 8 hours in the office, but then do not take into account the afterhours that are being put in at home, sometimes on vacation and while traveling for work.
