Pros

This was a great place to work but unfortunately is not the same Ruby as it once was.

Cons

Training is chaotic and unorganized, you are not setup for success and will be punished for it later.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re please you found the workplace to be a positive environment, though we’re disappointed to hear your training experience did not reflect the level of structure and support we strived for. Our goal is always to equip team members with the tools, guidance, and clarity needed to succeed. No one should feel unprepared, and feedback like this helps us close the gap. We also want to address your concern about being “punished later”. Our approach is centered on clear expectations, coaching and ongoing support, not punishment. When performance gaps arise, the focus is on providing guidance and opportunities to improve, especially early on when team members are still building confidence and familiarity with the role. Accountability and performance expectations are an important part of every role, and we are committed to ensuring they are paired with the right level of training and support. We value your input and will continue working to strengthen the onboarding experience. We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience working at Ruby. We are glad to hear you are enjoying your time with us! We strive to provide employees with a balanced workday and leverage technology to ensure breaks are allocated adequately throughout their shifts. In addition to scheduled breaks, our adherence expectations allow for unexpected personal matters that may arise throughout the day. Employees have an additional twenty-eight minutes on a standard eight-hour shift that they can leverage as needed. Our leadership team values 360-degree feedback and provides numerous voice-of-the-employee channels, such as our Ask Me Anything forum and Office Hours, available with all department leaders. As a current employee, we would love the opportunity to hear your feedback. To facilitate feedback loops, we have a transparent reporting structure available via Ruby Life that can be leveraged to determine the best leader to meet with. We encourage you to contact a leader of your choice to discuss your feedback further.

Pros

There was a great relationship with teammates. Lots of satisfying, creative ways to improve performance.

Cons

Got worn down from law firm calls, dealing with sensitive and distressing information from potential new client intake forms.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for the time you spent with the company. We’re pleased to hear that you found your teammates supportive and enjoyed the collaborative environment. We work hard to foster a culture where employees can learn, grow, and contribute creative ideas to improve both performance and the client experience. We also understand your comments regarding the challenges of supporting sensitive call types and navigating those conversations. Some of the callers we assist are navigating difficult personal situations, and those interactions can be emotionally demanding. While this work provides an opportunity to make a meaningful difference for people seeking help, it is not the right fit for everyone. We strive to provide the training, coaching and support to help our team members navigate these conversations professionally and confidently. We appreciate your contributions during your time with us and wish you success in your future endeavors.
