Laid back environment, discount, friendly co-workers, not a lot of overtime required

There is no structure at this company, and no stability. Major business decisions are made by amateurs with little to no experience. Most of upper management is either a family member or a close friend, so if you get hired on from the outside you will definitely feel out of place. Some managers have been with the company for so long they cannot embrace change, they fight it and continue to make the same mistakes over and over. The owners let certain managers with lack of experience "run" the company for them and nothing gets approved. Opinions (creative and analytical) are constantly shut down, or overlooked as a "bad business decision."

Those up top seemed unqualified to run a successful business and the company definitely plateaued with little growth over the years. Things behind the scenes were always hushed with little being told to those reporting to top managers. Many employees are straight out of college or not far from it and there are very few with enough experience to help this company really grow.
