Pros

Complete Autonomy We’re trusted with full creative freedom, regardless of experience level, to make technical decisions and shape the direction of our work. Unmatched Support & Mentorship While we enjoy great autonomy, we’re never left on our own. The engineering leadership is genuinely supportive, offering mentorship that prioritises personal growth and career progression. Flat Hierarchy Everyone is approachable—from senior engineers to the CTO and exec team. Every idea is welcomed and genuinely listened to, no matter where it comes from. Inclusive & Social Culture We foster a warm, welcoming environment where everyone belongs. Whether it's team runs, socials, or casual catch-ups, there’s always something going on and everyone is encouraged to join in. Purpose-Driven We’re a mission-led company that truly cares about our users. Everything we do is grounded in a desire to build the best possible platform for them.

Cons

Fast-Paced & Ambitious We’re a highly ambitious team, which means things move quickly and there’s always a lot happening. That said, I’ve never felt like my work-life balance has suffered—there’s a strong respect for boundaries. Rapid Growth with High Standards We’re scaling fast. Like any growing company, there are occasional growing pains, but we continue to bring in exceptionally talented people, and the bar remains high.

Pros

The benefits package is equal to or stronger than most companies at a similar stage of growth. Our team is passionate about the product we are building, and it makes it very easy to feel fulfilled by the work I am doing. There are many opportunities to expand in your role outside of what is explicitly written in the description, and most teams are willing to accept input/contribution from all perspectives. Also, we get paid to run/workout once a week, can't beat that!

Cons

There's definitely a strong start-up culture; you are not able to coast in your role. It's a strong culture of advancement and excellence, which can bleed into work-life balance.
