Pros
They consistently approved my requests for raises when I showed how much I saved the company. They let me work remotely when I needed the flexibility. Some of their products are truly amazing. They did fun Christmas giveaways and employee meals a few times. I learned SO MUCH working there.
Cons
More than once the owners laid off groups of production workers after the production workers cleared the backlog of late orders. They insourced a major process and left a former supplier with a huge unusable inventory. They repeatedly chose to make the product line (and thus, the manufacturing process) more complicated by adding every obscure feature and variant, instead of streamlining the bread and butter offerings that consistently sold well. They seemed to want control over every decision, including tiny aesthetic details and approvals for minor tooling purchases. They provided feedback infrequently and often in the form of last-minute demands, once telling me I needed to finish a project ASAP after weeks of me asking for feedback and getting no response.
