Pros
- Cool office environment - Dog friendly - Employees at my time of employment were very talented and worked well together
Cons
- Unrealistic expectations for employees to “figure it out” without support from management. Additionally, leadership does not support or back employees when clients are being unruly or out of line - Overall lack of appreciation for employees work. You may stay up until 10:00pm working on a project but get in trouble for coming in 10 minutes after 9:00 the next morning. This makes it extremely unmotivating, frustrating, and difficult to continue doing great work. -Leadership doesn’t care for employees wellbeing or needs (e.g. may get dirty looks when leaving early for doctors apt., leadership doesn’t believe you’re actually sick, etc.) - Owners are not interested in updating or improving policies and process, based on employee thoughts and suggestions. Because of this, changes or improvements are never made which is extremely frustrating - Very little culture. Birthdays and anniversaries will be forgotten unless other employees push for these things. - Resentful environment — leadership gives the impression employees “owe” them for everything. Anything given to the employees has the expectation leadership will hold against them at a later date. - Compensation is below industry standard, and you’ll have to fight for a raise / appropriate compensation at reviews and if you get a “promotion”. If you don’t, you won’t be fairly compensated and management will continue to pay unfairly in order for them to save money, regardless of your value. -High turnover, especially in the past 4 months
