Pros
The staff is generally friendly. Active social committee — BBQs, bake sales, games/contests, holiday events. Charitable within the community.
Cons
Middle and upper management haven't much of a clue as to what they're doing. Since being bought out, then having our parent company merge with an even larger and public company, management hasn't been able to figure out how to do their jobs properly, which trickles down to their employees. Employees are aware of the direction we are headed while management thinks we're oblivious. There isn't much room to grow, though that is understandable given our size. A significant portion of the office isn't actually office space, but warehouse space with carpet put down and relatively useless walls that do little to contain sound. Can be a distracting work environment at times. Several long-time employees seem to feel safe in their positions despite underperforming. Management doesn't seem to know and/or care about this.
