Pros

Co-workers are extremely friendly, fun, hardworking, smart, ambitious. Great onboarding - you learn a lot early on and feel very supported. They trust their employees which builds confidence. Culture is amazing! I feel excited to come into the office every day. Opportunity to grow. Full transparency. Benefits of "corp-up" meaning there is security in funding/corporate benefits but atmosphere/mindset of a start up. Emphasis on international team. I am extremely grateful to work here!

Cons

Nothing to share. Onboarding takes place at HQ in Belgium for a few weeks before starting in your official office, only way that it could be perceived as a con is if you don't like to travel

Pros

I am one of the lucky few to have started my job during COVID. Leading up to my onboarding, I was apprehensive about how the company would handle the evolving and uncertain situation. Fortunately, Rydoo was incredibly agile in its response to the pandemic by moving to fully-remote work and in my case, remote training. Despite not being physically present with my colleagues and management, I was well-supported and made to feel like part of the team and vision, which to me says a lot about the company's values. I feel well-equipped to do my job, between the useful trainings, constant support from my teammates, and the tools and resources available to us. Rydoo really invests in it's employees; there are many opportunities to learn and grow here. Lastly, I really enjoy being part of such an international team!

Cons

The only downside I can think of is that I haven't had the chance to meet all of my colleagues in person. Of course that's not Rydoo's fault, and I look forward to meeting everyone when it is safe to do so.

Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

Bad experience working for this company thus far. They treat their employees horribly. Management has no experience working with those under them and they lack proper communication. The culture is disgusting and it is a very toxic work environment. When things are not going well they take it out on their employees

Dear, Wow...Personally being a member of the HR crew, I don't know where to start... I'm going to step away from giving you the political correct HR response, with the motive of getting this convo offline as quickly as possible. I'll honestly say that reading this, is a gut punch, I won't lie. Let us be honest here for a second... 'disgusting', 'toxic',... those words are heavily in contrast with the feedback given to us since we've existed. I'll even go as far as giving you credit, that you would not be working in environment, that is that bad, for +3 years. So all in all, I'll let our Glassdoor audience use their judgement to balance your thoughts. Times have been hard this year, and if we contributed to that hardship in any way, I sympathise. I always end these responses with, "we're not perfect, so email us at HR@rydoo.com, so we can discuss our area of improvement." In your case: you know where to find me, and I'm happy to see how I can listen, learn and help. Warm regards, David
