Pros

External destination staff are amazing!

Cons

- UNPAID TRAINING, when you have to go to DAYS worth of training and you're not even getting paid for it - Destination pay is horrible. I calculated it, I was getting 1.20$/hour for 14 days on destination - head office is unorganized which reflects on destination, people only care about their own trips and half-ass schedules and paperwork for other trips - Understaffed on destination. How are you putting one TL with 100+ students on a plane? They're so cheap. - During briefing many rules are stated, but consequences aren't followed through. Students and staff can get away with many things. - It's just a shady business, they don't care about external staff at all...you can send half your sales staff to europe but you can't pay people for their training.... - Your first trip as a leader will 150$ and as a coordinator 300$...

Pros

We get to help students have a great experience. Sharing it with their entire class. Travel, new culture, meeting new friends, celebrating etc! I get to experience the before planning and promoting, I then get to see it follow through on destination which is amazing and continue to hear memories years later.

Cons

There can be long hours at times.

Thanks for the review. There is something so special about sharing this amazing opportunity with a new generation of travelers! Of course as you know the hours can be long and irregular during our peak times and we thank you for your years of dedication. Thanks so much!

Pros

- great co-workers - lax / casual work atmosphere - some flexibility with hours - travel a lot, chance to travel on destination - unique product - working with students (if that's your thing)

Cons

- the office is a glorified call-center - authoritarian leadership - little to no communication with upper-management (unless you're a favorite) - no existing or functional HR department - many people leaving and joining the company all the time - ALL EMPLOYEES ARE DISPOSABLE - extremely stressful environment - managers are rude, demanding, and totalitarian - unrealistic sales goals - will expect you to cover costly work expenses upfront, especially for travel (even though they are a travel company......?) Bottom line, the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY I'VE EVER WORKED FOR.
