- Tons of adjunct faculty (case in point: I only worked for one semester because I then moved on for a post-doc... this situation is not uncommon, leading to lots of employee turnaround and many new/ relatively inexperienced teachers)
- Training was a pain (extra day of commuting and several hours each week of unpaid work)
