Pros
- entertaining work, involving puzzle design and creation if you're keen
- the opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people who come to play
- reasonably acessible location via public transit
- generally pleasant coworkers
Cons
- $$$ for the amount games cost to play, not much is passed on to staff
- small but growing, so there's not a lot of structure heirarchically (possibly a pro if you like start-up feel?)
- part-time work is the only option, there are basically no full-time staff outside of the owners
- the generally pleasant coworkers are mostly college students, and this is their first job, so they don't take it seriously
- no defined way to be promoted (see: start-up style)
- no benefits
