Pros

Treats its employees extremely well in terms of benefits, holiday leave, sick leave etc. Very progressive workplace, has some highly intelligent, driven and passionate people employed there.

Cons

Extremely poor at communicating throughout the hierarchy of the business as to the direction the company is taking, there appears to be only a very limited correlation between pay and performance (which they were attempting to rectify, but didn't seem to have ironed out). Employees, are large percentage of whom were reasonably young, were given little indication as to how best progress through the business. Some extremely talented and hardworking individuals were left languishing in entry level roles because of the lack of a talent fasttrack scheme. Didn't run a proper graduate scheme/internship scheme, which seemed ridiculous since they were in the business of recruitment.

Pros

Shareholders are typically only liable for debts up to the amount of their investment, protecting personal assets.

Cons

Companies involve expensive setup, maintenance, and dissolution costs. They require rigorous record-keeping, annual audits, and complex, time-consuming compliance with tax regulations.
