Pros
Only a few pros, you meet amazing people in the office who genuinely want to see you grow and you get to travel and see new things around you area
Cons
Everything else about the job is a con. The behavior is almost cult-like, if you do not think like them you’re seen as different. Management want boot lickers to make them the favorites and give them special treatment regardless of performance. If there is anything wrong or a concern you have, upper management will make you feel like it’s entirely your fault. They praise all this about making money yet it’s never guaranteed you make money. There are unnecessary hidden charges that you have to lie about to make enough sales. It is only to the rep’s benefit and no benefit to the client. You are risking getting arrest warrants for solicitation because they refuse to pay for permits. We were kicked out of multiple cities because of it and we were personally banned from York by the mayor for soliciting. They constantly spew this rhetoric about being your own boss, yada yada crap. They withhold critical information during the interview process to keep them coming til the third one, they blatantly tell you if they ask about pay round up how much you make a week and divide so you get an hourly number. You are forced to work extreme hours just to make a decent paycheck, I was working about 12+ hours a day. That doesn’t even count if the office didn’t meet their weekly goal, then you are forced to work over the weekend. They go under a different name and position title on Indeed and other sites/apps so any bad review don’t go to the company directly. The pay is fully commission and they never explain about 1099 meaning you have to do your own tax work plus an extra self-employment tax that you have to pay. You are a slave only for management to make them a paycheck and any team members you have, then you have to force them and lie to them so they can stay and make YOU your paycheck while they struggle.
