Pros

Very easy to get hired here but there's a reason why

Cons

If you're thinking about working at SHI, here are a few things I wish someone had told me: Ask detailed questions about the pay and bonus structure—it’s not as clear or consistent as it sounds during the interview. Take a tour of the office before you accept anything. The vibe in person was not what I expected based on what was described. The training is honestly pretty weak. You’re kind of thrown in and expected to figure it out. There’s not a lot of compassion or flexibility, especially for people with disabilities or those who need accommodations. Overall, I didn’t feel valued as an employee. It felt like they cared more about numbers than people.

Pros

This may be a good place to start in order to gain experience in the industry at the entry level. Beyond that it should be a stepping stone.

Cons

The Glassdoor numbers say a lot. Only 50% of the people who work here would recommend to a friend or colleague. In school, 70% is 1% away from failure. SHI is 20% below failure. To add, 53% of the people who work here have a negative outlook on the company's future. That seems like a trend in the wrong direction. If your career is an investment in your life, that needs to be considered before investing a career into SHI.
