Pros

There are some very nice and talented people in the trenches,

Cons

The real trouble started when SRS was bought by an investment firm a couple of years ago. They started driving unrealistic deliverable schedules and hired a goon as development manager to coerce, threaten and bully people into working 60+hour weeks. One high level manager even promised at a department meeting that their would be bonuses if schedules were met, This turned out to be untrue, because schedules were met but no bonuses were payed. Sometimes things have a wonderful way of resolving themselves. The two managers above were shown the door because it became obvious they were incompetent and the investment firm is left with a product that is, to be kind, sub-par and unmaintainable.

My apologies for the tardiness of this reply. We take all feedback seriously, and I am sorry to hear that you were feeling this way at the time you wrote this review. I do hope that, if you are still with us at SRS, your feelings are quite different now. Change is difficult for any organization, but SRS is now coming through that change positively, thanks to the expertise and dedication of our talented team – as well as the backing of our investor. We absolutely value each and every person at SRS, which is why we offer so many ways to communicate any internal issues and actively pursue issue resolution. I hope that you and anyone here will utilize those avenues of communication whenever you feel something should addressed…or when you have a suggestion for ways to make SRS even better. ~ Sincerely, Scott Ciccarelli, CEO

Pros

There is a lot of positive outlook for SRS. Things have really been changing for the better, and I think SRS has a bright future ahead. The people are great to work with and I have never asked someone for help and have been told "that's not my job". Every time I need help from one of my co-workers they are there to help or at the very least guide me in the right direction. The company is truly dedicated to ensuring it's employees are happy. People might feel different, but in my opinion it is a great work environment. I feel comfortable and relaxed while at work. Not to mention the relaxed dress code! Sure there is stress at times, but there's always going to be some stress at any job you go to. With the team you have here you can definitely succeed.

Cons

It is true, there are way too many meetings! The good news is, management has been working on reducing the amount of meetings. Also, only reason I am putting 4 stars for work/life balance is because the days can be long sometimes. I can attribute this to the amount of emails you can receive a day and going through them all.
