Pros

as a copywriter intern right out of college, SSK was a great place to dive into a lot of different types of work. Worked directly under the CCO, who has tons of experience in the industry and is a wizard in many ways. Seemingly a great place for mid-level and senior creatives to come in and make immediate impact.

Cons

creative department is very thin right now - virtually no one above the junior level besides the CCO, who has to preside over every piece of business and doesn't have many people to delegate to. The office space itself is a little weird - the floor is split between SSK and a few other strategy/research/programming companies under the M&C Saatchi label.

Pros

A great place to learn, collaborate, get experience working across marketing functions, grow or transition your career ... people here come from all corners of marketing and it shows in the comprehensive approach the team takes to its work. Everyone's perspective is valued and you'll learn a ton just from working with this cast of characters. Meaningful work for clients who are real game-changers in their fields. The partners are really involved in the accounts - it's impressive. There aren't any egos getting in the way, just hearty discussion on how to make really smart, effective work. In general, the people here are really down-to-earth. It's a roll-up-your-sleeves, everyone's-opinion-matters work environment. A really great work-life balance is possible here. Refreshing to find in this industry.

Cons

Especially during training and onboarding, there's a lot of ambiguity here. If you're a real self-starter, though, you'll take that as a growth opportunity. People are always willing to help, answer questions, etc. The vacation and time-off policies could probably be better. The incentives here are still pretty basic and traditional.
