Pros
Close to home; only a few mile drive to get to work. I feel physically safe while working here. Patient areas are fairly locked down and there are cameras everywhere.
Cons
Will be so happy to leave this place. Everywhere in this hospital, employee morale is low. No one has any trust for management nor administration. From lowest level employees to administration, the place is a revolving door. There is little training and the job description is confusing. Capable and knowledgeable directors have been fired and replaced with people who have no knowledge of what they're managing. Many travel nurses have been hired to replace very well seasoned nurses who couldn't take the toxic environment any longer. Strong work ethic and moral values don't seem to mean anything to this workplace. It's like Peyton Place.
