      Pros

      The best company I have ever worked for. The people, across all departments I've encountered, are pretty much all awesome, friendly, and helpful. Coworkers want to help you, and often go out of their way to do so, and this creates a culture where you want to help them back. It's a great place to learn and you get to work with a great product, FME, while you're doing it. It's obvious the company from the top down cares about its employees in many ways: profit sharing, paid volunteer hours, extra days off during the summer and winter holidays, flexible work arrangements, lots of different opportunities, I could go on....

      Cons

      Very few cons. It would be nice to see a company RRSP where the company contributes a matched percentage each pay period. They do this for the profit sharing bonus, which is currently twice a year, but personally I'd rather see matched contributions throughout the year. I can't think of much else!

      When I worked here, many people encouraged me to work less so that I would have a work life balance.

      Cons

      I had trouble finding mentors who could help me grow in the ways I wanted.

      Pros

      - Software development leadership is solid. They encourage new technology, and they’re improving processes and team connections. - If you work in the building full-time, the private offices are nice. If you’re hybrid, you can book an office. - IT and Facilities are responsive. - HR maintains a good balance between people and company. - Business outlook is positive.

      Cons

      - The underground parking lot design is awful. I park on the street. - The CEO has changed in the past few years. Newer employees (especially the CMO) take precedence over experienced staff. Morale is low because of this. - Marketing is siloed, way overstaffed, and have many management layers. The majority are largely inexperienced in our industry, cannot make decisions (everything depends on the CMO), and don’t understand the customer base. In spite of having a very large team, they hire contractors for jobs we should (and can) be doing ourselves.
