Pros
The loyalty and determination of some of the staff are next level but their patience is starting to wear thin.
Cons
It seems if you're friends/church buddies with the CEO you could get away with murder and he'll turn a blind eye. Toxic management are employed for far to long resulting in losing all the highly talented and passionate staff in their department. You could write a book on all the mistakes they're making and include a manual on how to resolve all problems, hand it over to the CEO and again, he'd turn a blind eye. When the problems become major issues they say 'we didn't know' or 'weren't aware'. Courses aren't offered because in the outside US HR directors words 'that gives them more qualifications to get a better paid job elsewhere'. He doesn't care about any ones progression other than his own. Bonuses aren't paid on time, if at all even after exceeding the targeted annual turnover by millions. New employees are noticing how toxic the environment is within a few days of starting. Within 2 days, a new starter said to me 'is it me or does the management around here not have a clue what they're doing?'. For a newbie to say that, I think that makes things pretty clear. Other businesses are now seeking other products/services because they no longer want to deal with Safeguard. I'd be surprised if the company is still trading within the next 12 months!
