Pros

How much SafetyCall cares about its employees and customers is evident in the way they treat people, the company culture/work environment and in the actual work they do savings lives. Management is supportive and present, there are all company meeting every quarter where the CEO and leadership share strategic plans, company financials, HR updates, recognize employees, introduce new employees, and share department information. I've never worked for a more transparent and honest company. Employees are fairly compensated and there are additional bonuses and perks for hard workers especially. Turnover is low and 90% of the employees are clearly happy and there is a true family feel. Employees can work from home full time. Benefits are great, especially for the veterinary field.

Cons

SafetyCall is an emergency/urgency service so it can be stressful talking to upset callers who are experiencing a difficult situation and are emotional. Also, the company does hold employees accountable with reliability so people who call in a lot typically don't last long. Some employees recently left on poor terms due to the company holding them to accountability, professionalism and conduct standards. SCI’s standards are actually what makes this such a great place to work and most people working here are grateful for this. It weeds out negative people who bring the team down and has made for one of the best working environments they’ve ever been a part of.

Pros

Working from home. Equipment provided.

Cons

Call center work. Horrible callers. Feel like a prisoner in your own home as your bathroom breaks are scheduled for you. Lots of documentation and going back to back on calls. Company prioritizes call volume to make money and then doesn’t offer but a $.50-.60 cent raise each year with no Holiday bonus. They keep uptraining employees to take on additional tasks and call volume with no monetary incentive. Weekends required. Short staffed. High turnover. No flexibility despite working in your own home.
