      Pros

      Pay and benefits, a few great coworkers

      Cons

      The company puts a sticker on your badge if you're vaccinated, if you don't have one some managers will treat you very poorly, everyone was aware; this is part of the culture. Despite the pandemic dwindling down by the time of my departure, I was still being discriminated against.

      The safety of our workforce is and was of paramount importance throughout the Covid pandemic. We closely followed local, state and federal guidelines along with our internal Safran protocols to ensure the safety of our workforce to the greatest extent possible. We absolutely did not violate any legal or ethical guidelines in the process.

      Pros

      People are treated very well at Safran. They might not be the highest paying Aerospace company in the USA, but they have great benefits, management, and people. And still, the pay is usually competitive.

      Cons

      The headquarters are in France and therefore you need to be open to a different culture. Additionally, French and English are used sometimes in communications.

      Pros

      Many learning opportunities for troubleshooting different types of avian generator control units. Opportunities to work with a variety of engineering departments including production, test, quality, and industrialization. Occasional overtime opportunities.

      Cons

      High stress due to production deadlines, especially at the end of month. Miscommunications due to constant reprioritizing of needs. Difficult to move from short term (1 year+ only) contracts to full time positions.
