Everything that felt important to the business in terms of ethos, working environment and management has fallen off kilter and as a result there is a fragmented, disengaged workforce without a real sense of purpose. The rank and hierarchy within the organisation is very old fashioned and as a result people have ended up in positions where they are ineffectual. There is a horrible blame culture and talented and valued colleagues are being dismissed or leaving of their own accord.
